health care educational grants. For example, the American Health
Information Management Association gives small research grants
annually. A number of other organizations also have grants available
for students pursuing a master’s in health care, and some make money
available for students pursuing specific degrees, like health care
administration or nursing. Others offer blanket grants that are
available for anyone pursuing a degree in a field related to health
care.

In addition to the government and private organizations, students can
also look to schools for health care grants. Many college programs,
both online and offline, offer grants to students who show promise in
health care fields. Along with grants directly from the college,
students can talk to the head of their department, as many departments
allocate money specifically for students interested in health-related
research or other kinds of projects.

You can also find grant opportunities from employers. If you have a
bachelor’s degree and are already working at a hospital, health care
organization, or other kind health-related company, they may be
willing to pay for your schooling in exchange for you agreeing to work
for them after you graduate. Going back to school with a grant from
your employer means that you’re committing to work for them for a
certain amount of time, but for a free education and a guaranteed job
after school, it might be worth it.
