Ambulatory Care
There are times when the treatment you receive may involve a procedure
that was developed right here at UNC Health Care and is used as a
standard of care nationwide. UNC Health Care excels in research, in
training tomorrow's great physicians, nurses and scientists, and in
providing the highest quality of health care and service to every
patient who walks through our doors.

Because we recognize that excellent care involves more than practicing
good medicine, we have designed our facilities and practices to
consider every aspect of your visit. We want your experience to be as
pleasant and as comfortable as possible and to reflect our mission of
excellence in providing exemplary primary and specialty care.
This site has been designed for you as a resource for helpful
information. For further information, contact Ambulatory Care
Administration at (919) 966-7400 or email
ambulatorycare@unchealthcare.org. Thank you for choosing UNC Health
Care's Ambulatory Care for your health needs.

The Department of Ambulatory Care at UNC Health Care allows patients
to obtain the care they need in a convenient, outpatient clinic
environment and return to their normal routine as quickly as possible.
Locations throughout North Carolina provide highly skilled care in
state-of-the-art facilities close to where you may live or work. Over
780,000 patients are seen in Ambulatory Care clinics each year to
maintain wellness and for the diagnosis and treatment of disease,
illness, and injury.
