email print Welcome to the APIAHF Health Information Network! APIAHF created the Health Information Network to provide Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians, and Pacific Islanders who are concerned about the health and health care of our communities a place to find valuable information and communicate with other advocates, leaders and organizations.
We invite you to join the Health Information Network to receive updates on the work of APIAHF and critical information about health concerns in our communities. You can also join the APIAHF Listservs, which provide updates and information that are specific to our programs. Within the Health Information Network you will find resources such as our Health Organization Directory, which can help you find organizations that serve Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders. If you are looking for data and research on Asian Americans, Native Hawaiians and Pacific Islanders, our publications database contains facts sheets, data briefs, presentations and other documents that can help your work as a researcher, advocate, or community leader.
You can also use the Health Information Network to get up to date information on public health emergencies or national disasters. To prepare our communities for public health and other national emergencies, APIAHF has collaborated with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services Office of Minority Health, the National Council of Asian Pacific Islander Physicians, (NCAPIP) and the Association of Asian Pacific Community Health Organizations (AAPCHO) to make sure that information is available to our communities that is language appropriate and takes cultural differences into account. APIAHF also serves as a U.S. Census Information Center. Here you can find population, growth, and socio-economic data for 21 Asian American and Pacific Islander sub-groups as well as for other major racial/ethnic groups in the United States.
