Natural Immune Boost This advanced formula features Epicor(r) which starts to increase Natural Killer (NK) cell activity as fast as 2 hours after intake. NK cells are a type of white blood cell that is vital to your natural resistance. In addition, Immune Boost helps increase IgA, an antibody found in mucous membranes. The formula also supports the function of B-cells & T-cells, as well as Interferon. Some Basics About Immunity The Immune system is comprised of highly specialized cells. The most common are the lymphocytes, a type of white blood cell. There are two types of lymphocytes: B-cells which remember & T-cells which identify and attack . In addition, Interferon enhances the communication and activity of B-cells and T-cells.
What is EpiCor(r)? EpiCor is an immune-promoting yeast complex-The Super Food for immune defense. EpiCor(r) has been the subject of several clinical studies that show that it promotes immune function. EpiCor(r) has been clinically shown to increase the activity of Natural Killer (NK) cells in healthy adults as early as 2 hours after intake. NK cells are part of the bodys natural immune defense. EpiCor(r) also supports the bodys production of antibody IgA found in mucous membranes. These statements have not been evaluated by the Food and Drug Administration. Directions ADULTS: Take 1 capsule, one time daily, with a meal. FOR CHILDREN 9 YEARS OR OLDER: Sprinkle the contents of 1 capsule, once daily, into their favorite food. Not recommended for children under 9 years old.
