"Live" Apr 1, 2010, 12 to 1:30 p.m. "Mastering Maternity & OB/Gyn Coding" OB/GYN has its own separate rules and exceptions--so join us for this educational session that reviews OB/NB ICD coding applications as well as reviews and shares GYN coding issues. Even though many of these encounters aren't Medicare, most insurers seem to focus on LOS and acuity of the condition(s). Therefore, the applicable codes seem to be under constant scrutiny. We will review new pertinent ICD and CPT codes, the established official coding guidelines for labor & delivery, as well as review pelvic disorders and procedures. This session will focus mainly on facility coding issues, but will touch on billing issues for certified nurse midwives, maternity counselors, as well as other practitioners involved with maternity--so join us for the fun and get all the facts.(For member pricing, include your AHIMA number on the order form) Faculty: Sheila Goethel, RHIT, RWHC Coding Consultant Price: $ 125.00 Member Price: $ 99.00
