 Begin by reading the Coding Education Program Approval Process Manual
and How to Submit a Great CEPA . These documents will provide the step
by step information you will need to complete the application process.
You will need to complete the CEPA Template and the GAP 2009 Template
as part of your application.  Other helpful resources include:

• Best Practice for Coding Programs and Coding Abreviation

Coding Communities of Practice guidelines:

You are eligible to join the Assembly on Education CoP if you are:

A coding educator in an academic setting, have your program dean or
director contact AHIMA Education.

A coding educator in an AHIMA Approved Coding Program,-have your
program director or dean contact AHIMA Education

If you are a coding trainer (non-academic setting) you can self-select
to join the coding community at the Coding Education CoP.
