they included 218 men suffering with the impotence. These men were in
a first week were asked to use the branded Viagra during there routine
of sex, and for the next week they were given generic Viagra to use
during the sexual encounters. All these men were asked to note the
timings of the erection during the sex. It was noted that both the
drugs generic as well as original Viagra showed the same effect on the
men. The effect of the both the drugs was enjoyed for about 4 to 6
hours after taking the pill.

Generic Viagra contains active constituent, Sildenafil that is used by
the original drug. The concentration of the Sildenafil is also same in
generic and original Viagra and this is the reason why both the drugs
works exactly same. Generic Viagra worked also in a similar way like
original drug by first inhibiting the activity of the enzyme PDE-5 and
then promoting the activity of the enzyme cGMP, which finally leads to
increase the blood supply to the penis. This gives men the strong and
rigid erections necessary for the satisfactory sexual encounter.

and also sometimes it shows lesser side effects than the branded drug.
