New students To register for a credit class online, you must be in the Portland State Banweb system. If you have not previously enrolled and are not already in the Portland State University system, please call Registration at 503-725-4832. Another option - To establish your Banweb student record through a self-service online process, click here. You will be charged a $25 fee for this option, payable online by VISA or MasterCard.
Once your student record is established you will receive an email or letter with instructions for using Portland State’s Odin Account Manager (OAM) to create your computer access account. Please follow the instructions to complete the OAM process so you can register online for future courses, obtain grades and receipts for payment of tuition and fees, use your PSU e-mail account, participate in online or partially online courses, link to library resources, and use many other services at Portland State.

Admission and university policies Formal admission to Portland State is required when registering for more than eight credits per term (except summer term when enrollment is limited to 21 credits). All University policies apply to offerings from the Continuing Education/Graduate School of Education. See the information for students on our website for details. PSU ID PSU OneCards with your Portland State University ID number are mailed directly to all Portland State University and Continuing Education Students registered for credit. Please review the information.
Fee assessment policy Because classes in Continuing Education are offered on a self-support basis, course fees are assessed independent of the amount paid for full- or part-time tuition (not calculated in cumulative and/or maximum fee charges). Cancellations and refunds If insufficient enrollment or other conditions require canceling a course, registrants are notified as soon as possible and all fees are unconditionally refunded. Refunds of noncredit fees are given to students who cancel their registration at least seven days before the course begins. Refunds of 100 percent of credit fees are given to students who cancel their registration prior to the first class meeting. For cancellation after the first class, call 503-725-4832 for refund information.
Equal access/disabilities policy Portland State University fully supports the right to equal access to its classes by students with disabilities and makes every reasonable effort to ensure this access. Students with disabilities who require assistance should contact the Disability Resource Center at 503-725-4150 at least 15 working days before the scheduled beginning date of the course.
